Hello, I hope you are well.
I am exhibiting at Somerset House, part of "Now Play This 2016" London Games Festival on 1 - 3 April. I will be showing an interactive artwork "Lunatic Mehen"(image above) at the Board game section on Saturday 2 April 10am - 1.30pm. Hope you can make it.
Lunatic Mehen is named after a ‘Mehen’, an Ancient Egyptian coiled snake board game.
This is an interactive game looking at Japanese political relations with the U.S. government after the U.S.'s occupation, it covers from 1945 to the present.

Now Play This returns to Somerset House for a second year, running as part of the London Games Festival. The three-day event will include dozens of games to play, including some created especially for this weekend.
The festival showcases the wider possibilities of games. The peculiar, the beautiful, the deeply experimental. It's a place for games that get us playing in new and wonderful ways - whether that's in groups, on our own, outside, inside, on or underneath tables. Games that send us running across courtyards, games situated on nearby screens, games that take place entirely in our heads.
Please note that not all games are suitable for children.

At the crypt gallery, I will be showing four works including two installations - "Fracking Go" and "Civilisation" and one sculpture "Bird's-eye View". I also show a new drawing based on the "Civilisation". These works are looking at our consumer society and its affect on the environment. This is good opportunity to see number of my work together!

Toys (Are Us) is an analysis of objects of play. Through the curation of new and existing works by an international cast of contemporary artists, this exhibition explores the impact toys and games have on human development, contemporary society and the environment. Installed within the historic maze-like Crypt Gallery in Euston, you’ll encounter a multidisciplinary survey of works that are also for sale.

Curated by Kosha Hussain and Chloé Dall’olio
